Seeking male runners in Launceston

Dr Shing is recruiting male runners, aged 18 to 40 years, to do four runs in a climate chamber at 35°C as part of the study investigating the effect of probiotic diet supplementation on gut function when running in a hot environment.  Runners taking part will benefit by receiving information on their immune status, gastrointestinal permeability and a dietary analysis.  As part of the trial they will also perform two VO2max tests for free – a test that normally costs $250.

Interested male runners, aged 18 to 40 years, should contact Dr Cecilia Shing at the Launceston UTAS campus by email at cecilia.shing@utas.edu.au or by calling 6324 5484.
